i just turned 26. i feel old. hell i felt so old i quit my job and decided to take one in another city just to get that experience in while i still have time. sure there were other reasons, but that was one of them.

i think you are old, once you start thinking about "running out of time" to do things

I'm 24 now.

I'd say you are old when you no longer count the passing of birthdays, but people who aren't the partying type, could easily forget birth days. So, I'll go with the answer of 'When you begin drawing SS benefits without penalty.'

That sounds about right. I think its more of just how you feel more than your number age though.

I'm 28 and there are days I just cant get around and there are other days where I feel like a teenager.

21 = almost old...it has lots of ups, but you are now officially an adult (as far as the gov cares) and responsibilty goes up even more so
25 - officially old, prolly working a 9-5 job, planning to get married or find someone to settle down with
30 - down right old now matter what your conditions
40 - getting into geezer mode: the new generation now finds you boring and non entertaining
50 - geezer: there are now two generations that find you old and boring
60 - decrepit: you are prolly just now getting to stop the 9-5 job and dont have enough money to do all the cool things you could have done when you were younger
70 - its time to die
80 - if your non dead yet, you will be wishing you were
90 - you are the equivalent to Methuselah
100+ serriously...just die already

I considered myself old the day some girl I had hoped to flirt with called me "sir."

It was when a kid of a middle school kid I counseled when I was in college came up to me and asked if I was the kids dad. My friends all started to crack up. I still get flack for it. I am 26 BTW.

When I stop liking new music I will feel old. Getting close as most new music sucks donkey nuts. 31 now, I suspect I will lose all trace of young/cool/hip by 40.

Music tends to cycle, and don't go for the pop music, do independant music and you will get a better selection.

*Breaking news*

Hugh Hefner just called me. He said that you guys will never in your lives experience the quality of chicks that he'll experience when he's 80.

PS- He said you're old, you've already reached your full potential at 23, and you might as well just give up.
