At what age is it inappropriate for you to do crazy shit with your stuffed animals

By crazy shit I'm referring to a certain episode that happened on AT forums *cough*mousey*cough*.

Now I'm asking this for females. I ask this because my ex-gf told me today that I sucked because I don't play with her stuffed animals with her. Sorry, as grad students, even if I have a stuffed animal on my bed at this age, I'm not going to play baby talk. I'm not going to role play stuffed animal playtime like a 3 year old does (not role play in a dirty way). I don't mind if she brings a stuffed animal if we go on a trip (not that I would), but to me at a certain age you need to grow the fvck up.

I also think the girl is a little psycho. While I do have a stuffed animal on my bed, I frequently throw it off because I still sleep on a twin bed and I want my space, but she will actually yell at me for not taking care of it. Shrug. And something about those squeeze toys that make noise...she makes me apologize to her stuffed animals if I want to squeeze them for fun. Supposedly it "hurts them."

Well she's an ex-gf right? Some people can be crazy batshit. I'm glad I'm not dating that anymore.

I did this until I was about 16. I used to have dozens of stuffed animals in my bed, but they don't get washed frequently and I'm more self-conscious about my acne now, so I avoid snorgling them now.

I think I only played with stuffed animals when I was real young. After that it was all action figures, Power Rangers, Ronin Warriors, Biker Mice from Mars, all that jazz.

I didn't personify my teddy bear even when I was 3. He was just a teddy bear, not a living thing.

I've had multiple exes that had stuffed animals that I thought they were a little too "dependent on". One ex gf even had a "blankey" that didn't come out until after we'd been dating for a while.

They weren't deal breakers, but I did find it strange...at first. I'm not sure if it's all girls that keep those types of things well into adulthood or if I'm just attracted to/by girls with some type of predisposition to having them. It's more common than I initially realized.

I have a bunch of dusty Nintendo collectible plushies that I wouldn't let anyone man-handle but I wouldn't play with them. Hell, I haven't even seen them in half a decade.

I must have had a pretty messed up childhold, I remember getting a machete as a birthday gift when I was 9. I thought that only girls had stuffed animals.

I know a couple that treats a teddy bear as if it were their child. They dress it up and bring him to every event. They also punish it for things like not taking a shower in over a year....

At first I thought it was a joke, but they are dead serious.

Whenever my friends and I go shooting out in the desert we try to stock up on a few stuffed animals, Goodwill is a great place to find them. It is fun plugging stuffed animals and watching the stuffing go flying out the back. 12 gauge shotgun is most effective at this. :D

One time my friend grabbed a stuffed animal, put a loaded .45 up to its body and unloaded a mag full into it. Funny as hell!

I was never big into stuffed animals, but I like them ok. I was at a snowball stand last week, and they had small foam tux penguin sitting on the counter. That's my new goal. Find a foam tux :^D

OP, you're making a fuss about others and you still have stuffed animals on your bed? You're like a person that's single and has more than one cat but makes fun of crazy cat ladies. You're really about one step away from being there yourself.
