Obviously it can range greatly depending on the person and how you define it...but as someone turning 25 in less than a month, I'd have to say that in my late teens/early 20s, I'd always view 25 as the start of "adulthood".
And while at this point of my life I'm more or less where I saw myself, or hoped I'd be coming out of college in terms of career/work, I still have definitely consider myself a "kid".
As it stands I go out 2-3 times every week and get my fair share of drinking on, never had any sort of serious relationship in my life, and have a complete apathetic view of life and everything that goes on around me. It doesn't help that I live in Pacific Beach in San Diego where putting shoes and jeans on is considered dressy, and on any given night you'd find people puking outside of the bars here.
Overall I'd say my mentality is no different than when I was a 21-22 year old in college, and the development of my "life view"--i.e. how I treat life has not grown at all.
So for the folk with more years behind them, was there ever a switch in mentality in your life from getting out of college, and did it just slowly develop over time or was there some sort of trigger point for it to happen?
