Death is usually a hinderance. Otherwise it's whenever it's physically impossible or when the libido just dies. It really varies from what I've heard.

An old man I used to work with and still see regularly says he and the wife still do it occasionally.

He is 78.

After I was born, I was lucky enough to never have walked in on my parents as a child or at all. They also sleep in different rooms since they have different sleeping patterns (not only does my dad snore but my mom and dad go to sleep and wake up at vastly different times.)
