At this rate I'm gonna get my 950 socket A t-bird paired with an a7v MB approximately 10 years after the earth crashes into the sun. I don't understand. I went through this same crap when the original Athlons were released. That's one thing I dislike about AMD, there simply aren't any motherboards at release. Does anybody have a clue when I might be able to acquire the parts described above? Thanks for the input.

From what I see on the Web, you have a very good chance of obtaining a Socket A motherboard before the end of July. Dunno about the A7V in particular. A Slocket A to Slot 1 adaptor may become available soon, but it's questionable if it will beat a Socket A mainboard to market.
