How does one activate the text in their message to link to another site? It looks like a cool feature but I can't figure it out. Is it one of the tabs above the text screen? Please don't flame me.

If you are asking how to link in your messages, that is very easy. Just click the http button above the message box when you go to post and put the link in there. When you hit ok, another box will pop up, and you can put whatever you would like to call the link there.

If that is not what your asking, sorry, I am lost. But hey, that's nothing new. 😉

It's one of the buttons that says something like "http" and has the little "link" graphic. The code it produces is <l=text of hyperlink>http://destination of hyperlink</l> but the <>s are replaced with []s. Click "symbols" below the post/reply button for more info.

Looks like somthing happened with forums - linking and other formatting is not working anymore in STANDARD VIEW mode! Switch to Enhanced Mode to see it. Please fix this, Standard view was fine before!

Thanks all, just figured it out by adding a url to my rig profile. Another neat feature that makes AnandTech worth coming back too time and again!
