She just came out from where they give alergy booster shots with her jacket off and is wearing a hip holster. Guess she's a detective or something although she's only wearing jeans. No one in the office seemed to care.

why would anyone care? If it's legal in your state then there is no issue.

Even if its not legal, unless she's waving it around and threatening people with it, why should you care? Guns don't just go off or do things on their own.

why do you have an irrational fear of inanimate objects?

in VA... are you really that ignorant of your own state laws?

wiki said:
"Open carry of a handgun without a permit is legal in Virginia at age 18, withstanding other applicable laws. Concealed carry of a handgun is allowed for persons who hold a valid CHP, comply with certain restrictions, or who hold certain positions. Virginia shall issue a CHP to applicants 21 years of age or older, provided that they meet certain safety training requirements and do not have any disqualifying criminal convictions. Consuming an alcoholic beverage in ABC on-premise licensed restaurants and clubs, while carrying a concealed handgun, is prohibited; nor may any person carry a concealed handgun in a public place while under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Those laws pertaining to alcohol do not apply to openly carried handguns, however possession of a firearm can compound the penalty for various other offenses, including illegal drug possession.[2][1][17]"

Why would they care? An armed society is a polite society.

Why do people get upset when a gun gets pointed at them? As long as the gun holder doesn't have his finger on the trigger, why worry about it?

because the rule goes: "never point a gun at anything you don't intend to shoot".

Well sure, but either way, what's the difference? Guns don't just go off or do things on their own.

The difference is one's a threat and the other is not. Most state laws differentiate between "carrying" and "brandishing" for a reason.

Likewise I can say "I'm going to kill you." to a random stranger. Now granted, it doesn't actually have any effect until I attempt to kill him/her, but it's still a threat and I could be charged for it.

Why get upset when someone states their intention to strangle you to death? As long as their fingers aren't around your neck, why worry about it?

Idiots not familiar with gun carry laws. Mmmmmkkkk

Normal people wear guns in all the states that allow them, its pretty normal behavior
