First, I don't want this to end up in another Apple vs Android thread again.
I'm a smartphone fanatic. Not a fanboy of anyone.
Your posts implied that Androids is hurting iphone sales or something of that nature.
iOS have actually gained market shares from year to year.
Its RIM, Nokia, Winmo that are losing market shares.
Its hard to compete with Android here in the US when the iphones can only be activate on ATT.
You have tons of Android phones being offered on all 4 networks, from the low-end to high-end so its easy to see why so many Android phones are being activated daily.
Lets not forget there are many customer on T-mobile that are using iphones.
Its not like they walk into T-mobile and ask for their iphones to be activated.
No, they simply switch sim cards.
I never knew how popular iphones were(well I knew but didn't know) until I started using an IP4 extensively a few month ago.
I'll give you some examples.
- I bought a 3G to use in Vietnam for $250 and 6 months later, sold it for $250.
- I bought an IP4 for $475 and sold it a couple of weeks ago for $600.
- The guy I sold the IP4 to, sold me his 3GS for $200. I just sold that phone tonight for $290.
I knew alot of people use iphone on t-mobile but I didn't realize the magnitude of it.
its alot more than you think.
I've listed other phones on craigslist and I get no where near the interests as when I list an iphone.
iPhones are selling more than they ever did.
Lets face it, there are so many different Android phones out there, theres no way 1 phone on 1 network can compete.
I can guaranty if iphones were available on all 4 carriers, their market shares would skyrocketed.
