There are several different versions of this 495 ATT worldnet deal,
including one with usatoday where they deliver the paper for you, and
one for current ATT worldnet customers like me.

However, the problem with this service is that they will have an
unremovable advertising bar on your screen, which you cant remove.
They also have a set of fine print on the deal that says you can
only stay logged in for so long, if no activity it shuts off, etc.

Buyer beware:disgust:

I don't understand. If you can live with an advert bar, why pay even $4.95 a month? Netzero and Juno for example, have the same thing without ANY payment..

The free ISP's are finding that they lose money, due to the 10% of users that use most of the bandwidth. So they're starting to limit hours per month. Bluelight is now at 25 hours/month.
And, AT&T has usenet news service, which the others don't.

NetZero and Juno are BOTHstarting to charge after 40 hours.

They stink. Netzero especially. Their constant cut offs, pop up ads, and all the noise made on their bar to get your attention are beyond aggravation.

Time to change to the new, FREE, American Express service.
