I am thinking of switching from AT&T to T-Mobile and I wanted to know what you guys think about T-Mobile service right now specifically the internet.

I am satisfied with AT&T service but the monthly bill is insane compared to what T-Mobile is offering.

Right now I have 2 iPhone 5s on my account with

700 minutes
A-list(Never used lol)
Unlimited Text
Unlimited internet for my line
2 GB for my brother

and my monthly bill is 170$ LOL

T-Mobile is offering:
Unlimited everything for 2 lines for $110

So yea, what you guys think?

About 6 months ago I had a Verizon line and a T-Mobile non-LTE line in NYC. T-Mobile was fast at that point and didn't have trouble anywhere. Verizon had good signal too but the 4G was a hit or miss at places.

Go t-mobile or try out ATT gophone $60/mo and same stuff as postpaid (except roaming).

$170 for 2 phones is awful.

I just switched to T-Mobile.

Family plan with 3 lines, all have unlimited talk/text, one with 2.5GB data and the other two with 500MB data each: $100/month

Data upgrades on the lines are painless; it's an additional $10/month per line to go from 500MB to 2.5GB; add another $10/month per line to go from 2.5GB to Unlimited.

I priced out my same monthly plan at Sprint: $180/month; at Verizon and AT&T: $190/month.

Uncarrier is for real folks.

Bring your own device (I bought some GS4s for $350/each).

Seriously. T-Mobile family plans and BYOD is what puts them over the top for value. Of course this is still dependent on signal first and foremost. I believe T-Mobile is mostly an LTE or bust affair now in NYC as far as data is concerned so its a matter of whether your iPhone is AWS LTE enabled. Calls should be fine regardless.

yep, do this....

I'm in the NYC region as well, ordered a prepaid sim card and going to test their prepaid service for a month ($10 sim card, $30 service = $40 for testing)... will switch over to their $30/month 5GB 4G service if it looks fine

Do it. I'm in NYC and my s4 on tmo blows away my ip5 on vzw. I am always on lte with tmo and with vzw I'm lucky if I get 2 bars on 3g.
