Hmm, it would be great if that were true, but looks a little too good to BE true.

i dont know how valid this is. i spoke w/ a business line rep and they didnt know anything about this deal. She said the only promotion they are having is a 750minute w unlimited nights and weekends, free long distance for 49.99

I will try tomorrow as soon as i wake up. If it's true, this is FIRE!!

btw, the number posted was closed, that's why i called the business line. where did you hear this deal at?

I don't know...maybe if it were like $99.99 it would be more believable, but I haven't seen anything at Howards Forums and like, I think unlimited data is $70 or something alone, so yeah...but if it's true, I'll be the first to sign up! Screw keeping my number from Cingular! =)

As a AT&T dealer the last I knew unlimited data was $85 per month retail barring no promotions.

did u guys know that starting november 24th, or so, the FCC has made all the cell phone companies allow the customers to keep their phone numbers whever u go. Let's say ur contract ends around that time and u have ATT and u wanna jump to Verizon, then u can keep your existing cell phone number with no hassle now. Think about it, the companies are trying to beef up their plans to keep their customers now! THIS IS A HOT DEAL!!!!! I'm a student and i'm gonna get at this plan mos def yo! Enjoy the info, hope it helps everyone!! =)

Um, the OP edited the post at least twice, one time to add the phone number, and another to add the (expired) link, so it's not like the first 10 or so of us are blind.

$50 a month for unlimited anytime minutes? That's ridiculous...lord knows that students will be on the phone more than your average worker, so this doesn't make sense. this is great if it's true, but I doubt it.

Ok I just got off the phone with a rep from the number listed on this page. He said that "He didn't know of any plans dealing with college students, but sometimes local stores can set up their own deals out side of the corporate plans." I am wondering if this deal is for a local store maybe? Regardless I don't think I am going to be able to get this deal though :( If only it worked.....

I called the provided number and the program seems to be available. You do need to be associated with one of the schools in the program. George Mason being one of them. I told them I was from a different school that is not in the program so that was the end of that call. The rep did tell me that unlimited MLife was NOT included at that price. Unlimited MLife is $79.95 a month by itself. (ACK) You can get a B&W sidekick for under $50 on eBay and get unlimited data service from T-Mobile for $29/Month.
