The last few days, it's been taking 12-24 hours or longer to receive text messages. Then they all come at once in a burst and then it's nothing again for a while. Their messaging website has been down off and on too, it's ridiculous. Completely useless service. Anyone else having trouble recenty?

Dude, could be worse, I used to have Conestoga Wireless, a local provider, they were huge with teenage kids cuz they offered unlimited messaging even with prepaid, they would get sooo backed up, all the time.

Dood, yesterday I couldn't even receive call not just messages. AT&T is screwing me :( I'll cancel their service in a heart beat if there wasn't any fees.

Hm, been using the website to SMS message my g/f for the past 4 months and she always gets them the second I click send.

It's never been down for me either.

So far I'm very happy with AT&T..

AT&T is definitely not the service to use if you want to do SMS.

they only have 100 messages for $9.99/mo. $0.10 for each additional. If they want people to use the feature they need like 500 message or unlimited packages. it's ok if you're a lite user, i guess.

actually i almost never send messages, i just use them to alert me when i have email, and give me weather and stocks and things. sometimes people send me a quick message telling me when to call them.

TDMA, through my SBC Yahoo DSL service (they just switched all us old Pac Bell people over to that). They give me 760 MB of briefcase and photo storage online too. :)
