AT&T S6 and S6 Edge updates

If anybody still cares, the S6 and S6 Edge just got the 5.1.1 update. Seems to be a bit better with the memory management. Been about 9 hours and the home screen hasn't re-drawn once.

Bluetooth performance is significantly improved for me. Connected to the Sync in my truck within just a couple seconds vs 5-6 previously. Audio also used to skip/pause (literally, the display in my dash would say "Pause") and it didn't do it once in my 40 minutes drive to work/home.

Remains to be seen if the phone can keep up this level of responsiveness or if it's just because it's had the cache freshly cleaned.

My ATT S6 just got the update and my benchmarks are all lower...
Geekbench down from 1530 single core to 1180.
AnTuTu 68318 down to 64000
Unreal Engine had the biggest loss. 5.0.2 average 58fps on Ultra High Quality. Now with 5.1, 28.2fps.. what the crap!?
Seems 5.1 < 5.0.2 🙁

I'd say wait a day or two, I have the Note5 and it got an update two weeks ago that brought my geekbench and AnTuTu down. But after waiting a few days and retesting it was back up to normal.

Also just tested Unreal engine and I am getting over 50fps average.

Has anyone's battery life improved? I've wondered why the S6 is so much worse than the Note 5 when you'd imagine they'd be in the same ballpark (bigger battery but bigger screen).

From some posts, it seems like real world battery life for some S6 users was close to half of that of the Note 5.

If 5.1.1 has significantly improved it, then seems like it would be fair to blame 5.0.

I haven't paid attention. But the battery lasted me from 7am this morning to about 830pm with some use, and 7 hours of music playback (screen off). It was at 23% when I stopped the music.
