I've got ATT's DSL and regular phone service with them.. Is it possible to have the phone line disconnected for voice service and keep the DSL? I would switch to cable so I can get rid of the phone line, but there is no cable available here. What I'd like to do is just get rid of the voice line and use my cell phone instead, but I'm not really sure if I can do it... I would call but I figure they'd just lie and say I have to keep service in order to keep the DSL when I really don't, so I want answers from others.
TIA

You can get "naked" DSL in some areas. This is DSL without phone service attached. However, the speed of this type of service is often (artificially) capped at 1.5, and tends to be more expensive than regular DSL service.
