Hi all,
So my employer just got me an iPhone 5 with an associated unlimited LTE data plan. While the iPhone 5 is nice and I do not mind iOS, the 4" screen is still too small for my liking (my eyesight sucks).
I had a space HTC One X in my closet so I put the nano-SIM into a plastic MicroSIM adapter and popped it into the One X thinking the data would just work. Unfortunately I get a "Connection failed due to incorrect APN setting" error and data does not work.
Apparently iPhones use a special Data Plan code on AT&T (they don't use the "PTA APN" or something like that) and non-iPhones use a different Data Plan Code.
I'm hoping to be able to switch back and forth between the iPhone 5 and another phone like the One X or Galaxy S3. Is there a Data Plan code on AT&T (LTE) that will work for both phones? I don't mind losing features like "Visual Voicemail" but I would prefer to keep the LTE 4G speeds. Thanks in advance.
