AT&T has a 20, 30 and 40 dollar iphone plan now?

Was checking out the features online and I have an iPhone 2g. I noticed that there were multiple options for an iphone plan. Each one had unlimited internet, but different amounts of text messages. I thought there was only a $30 plan? This makes me consider getting the 3GS since I would be able to choose the $20 plan instead of the $30 one. Anyone have any experience on whether this works or not?

Are you sure you read that right? AFAIK none of AT&T's data plans include text messaging. The text messaging plans are on top of the $30/month data plan.

Might be for just the EDGE/1st gen iphone.

Yes i read it right, there are 3 options. I added the $20 dollar one and it went through. Shrugs...

It's possible that it's 2g only, but I've never seen these other options before.

It's for the 2G only, those are the original plans.

Yup. You can't get a 3GS with those plans, so if you already ordered the $20 plan you'll probably get an original 2G iphone, or ATT will call and tell you they're switching you to the standard $30 plan.
