I got a deal from AT&T 900 national minutes for $59.99 and added another line for $9.99.
Nights start at 7 p.m. No activation fee and an additional 15% disc on bill. Phones nokia 3200 and LG for free.
Free car charger/leather case/head phone.

I still have an option of jumping to 1250 local minutes. since I have no land line I am thinking of getting the 1250 minutes. Local is CA/NV and another state.

What do you guys think ?

That seems kind of expensive. I remember seeing 1000 nat. minutes for $50 a month on Cingular.

Side note:

Broke my phone last week (I'm on AT&T).

AT&T would only sell me what is in stock (not much) and pushed hard to make me change to a Cingular plan which had less minutes and a $10 higher extra line charge.

Some AT&T stores had a few AT&T phones left but pushed to change to Cingular (AT&T phones won't work on Cingular and vice versa -- unless you unlock 'em -- a dirty little secret they won't tell you).

Ended up buying a phone elsewhere & unlocking it.

My experience? Cingular is suck for AT&T customers....

If you can get service in places where you need the phone, then great. Otherwise forget it.

AT&T Is by far the WORST service. I can't ever get in touch with my friend who has it and if I do happen to connec through it's very choppy and the call will probably eventually get dropped if it's a semi-long conversation.

I think that's about as good of a deal as your going to get...I'm really unhappy with cell phone rates right now. I've noticed since Cingular and ATT merged rate prices have gone up.

I don't like the fact that Cingular charges you to upgrade your phone, but I think all of the companies do that. Why do they charge anyway?
