AT&T data rollover

Just got an update from my carrier, they are doing a short-lived data roll-over each month. Sounds like a win for me since I don't necessarily pay for the added feature and it just applies to my account automatically.

Wish it was longer then just an extra month though lol

Then switch to T Mobile where it will not expire for 12 months.

Does this start with January data being rolled into Feb? At least this is one more buffer to prevent going over their abitrary data limits. Although i am still pissed i missed out on the double your data promo that was not available for 10GB but yet some people got it to occur. I even tried cancelled but apparently my in laws dumb phone locked in our contract for another year and a half.

AT&T isn't my first carrier choice honestly...but it's the ONLY one where I get 3g/4g service at my residence 🙁

I wish T Mobile was stronger in my city, I would happily switch to them. It is so sad how quickly the carriers will copy the un carrier.

This was news on Wednesday. If you are on ATT Mobile Share Value plan, enrollment is automatic (no action on your part), and it starts on 1/25.

While you can rollover only one month's worth of unused data, I'll take it over nothing. I do like T-mo's implementation much better. T-mo is doing awesome things, definitely stirring the pot! Gotta love competition.

Their service is strong where I am (had them when I was a student on my dad's family plan), but I travel a lot, and their coverage typically is subpar compared to AT&T/Vzw. If T-mo's coverage was semi decent in the US, I'd maybe think of switching. My company doesn't do discounts with them, so I'd end up paying a little bit more than what I am on AT&T.
