AT style keyboard port doesn't work

Here's my dilema all I just got a motherboard back from a dissatisfied user citing the simms slots don't work. Determined as I was to get it working I began running tests. Took me an hour to get all the jumpers configured correctly and behold a working system with either 2 8 meg parity simms or two 4 meg non-parity simms. I identified the source of the problem being that 200W PSU's were not enough for the PCPartner board but the 250W PSU powering my Linux server was. But then the keyboard stopped working (no led's would light up on boot and the bios would detect a keyboard error/keyboard not detected).

Does anyone know if the AT keyboard port is fixable/replaceable? Or is this now remedied motherboard destined for the scrap heap and leaves this user in the hole $20. Cheers!:|

I wish, but this thing is a *gasp* PCpartner board. You might have something going though ... maybe a PCI USB card ... the board itself seems to function still but a USB kb on a S7 board ... wow talk about overkill. Anyone know if I can rip an AT module of a 486 and re-solder? =D
