Yashica-Mat film scans. I had forgotten about these; they sat undeveloped in my office (temps up to 100 degrees) for 2 years or so. :D

Change of pace this weekend with a visit to Little Falls, NJ. I kind of wished I had a wider lens for this one, but 25mm is my max. Glad I have an ND filter though:

From the first roll of film with the Nikon S2, 5cm 1.4, and Fomapan 100. Quickly has become my favorite camera to shoot. Worse is it has given me a case of Leica fever. :(

Well, you've piqued my curiosity and I'm here looking at a Canon QL17 Giii. Prices for the Nikon S2 and any Leica would be way out of my range, but the idea of having a compact, fully manual and mechanical camera, nearly silent, that doesn't require a battery would be fun.

For now though, I'm gonna stick with emulating the look of film. Had this one sitting for a while from March of last year. Wasn't sure if it was worth posting, but I do like it, so yeah:

It's a lot of fun. I'm impatient, so it's really exciting when you finally get to see the pictures. I've got 3 or 4 rolls in the fridge waiting to get developed. Going to start messing with developing at home once I get through a few things. Next trip my wife and I go on, all film photography. I bought her an old school point and shoot just for the trip. :D

A couple from the first roll on the Nikon F2 with Kodak ColorPlus 200:

Skink, pitcher plants, Venus flytrap, and sundews, all native and wild, all carnivores, Carolina Beach State Park, North Carolina. Later, we came across the mother lode of pitcher plants growing along a road.
