From the first roll of film with the Nikon S2, 5cm 1.4, and Fomapan 100. Quickly has become my favorite camera to shoot. Worse is it has given me a case of Leica fever.

Well, you've piqued my curiosity and I'm here looking at a Canon QL17 Giii. Prices for the Nikon S2 and any Leica would be way out of my range, but the idea of having a compact, fully manual and mechanical camera, nearly silent, that doesn't require a battery would be fun.

For now though, I'm gonna stick with emulating the look of film. Had this one sitting for a while from March of last year. Wasn't sure if it was worth posting, but I do like it, so yeah:

It's a lot of fun. I'm impatient, so it's really exciting when you finally get to see the pictures. I've got 3 or 4 rolls in the fridge waiting to get developed. Going to start messing with developing at home once I get through a few things. Next trip my wife and I go on, all film photography. I bought her an old school point and shoot just for the trip.

Skink, pitcher plants, Venus flytrap, and sundews, all native and wild, all carnivores, Carolina Beach State Park, North Carolina. Later, we came across the mother lode of pitcher plants growing along a road.
