I've had this laptop since December 1998 - and I got it second-hand! It's a Compaq Armada 1700 series with 32MB ram and a 4GB disk. I really have no idea what CPU is in it.

Older than Ornery's archives? That might explain the diesel-powered keyboard. It's taking five or six pulls to get 'er started lately, though. :Q
