AT nowhere on the list of "largest forums"

Something screwy going on with this list. We have the 3rd largest community according to these numbers, but we aren't even listed. Not only that, get this, we are beaten out by a Hole and Courtney Love fans community. I think there's something screwy going on there. A mediocre band that was just a blip on the radar screen of music history has the largest band-related forum on the Internet? Highly dubious!

Are they ignoring Fusetalk boards? Looks like only phpBB, Invision, ezboard, vBulletin, zeroforum, 'custom'
 
You can submit URL's to be added to the list, so I did. Hopefully we'll be on there soon, where we should be, at the top of the list 😀

He probably went to the main forum index, and used a calculator and calculated the number of posts... but i could be wrong.

I used calculator and added up the posts from all the seperate forums. Kida sad 🙁

I just sorted it by members and AT doesn't even appear on the list.
With 121,000 members, that places us 9th on the list in total users.

I still can't believe Linkin Park has 189,000 members on its message board at 4th place... that's scary.
Neverwinter Nights must be the most addictive game ever...

I don't know whether they include archived posts or not. If they do, then one forum could set their archive date at 0 and have a ton of posts. Another forum could archive every day and have 10 posts.
 
please, please, please do not get this board listed on that site.

We have enough problems with the britney/anna/justin fans. We don't need any courney fans.
 
Has anyone noticed that FatWallet now has more registered members than AnandTech? They have 134,165 users, and there are almost always more logged on there than here. However, they only have about 2.75 million posts going off of the latest message id numbers.

Anandtech doesn't mention total post count on the front page, hence why it (and presumably other Fusetalk boards) isn't included.

That's doesn't necessarily mean thats the # of the posts on the forum, thats the # of the post in the database
 
himmm Off Topic isnt on there either and its bigger then AT.
