I moved on up to a cable modem about 5 mo. ago, and I must say I will never use dial up again.

Home from college and I must say... DIAL-UP SUCKS!!

Back at school I had my own CS Server sitting right next to my main machine, and got pings below 20ms while hosting 32 people. I still have a server running, but its off-location and I connect via dial-up. Now my pings are closer to 200ms. Its a totally different game. I have to learn it almost all over again.

Not to mention the fact that I can no longer download files at will... I have to leave it on all night for a 100MB file. Truely disheartening.

BTW if anyone wants to play some CS, try the server at 128.197.178.225. Its running 24/7 dust.
