At lunch, it was 70 degrees. It's now 3:40 and it's snowing.

When I posted, it was 35. Now, not a half hour later, it's 28.

In Denver, 105.9 has what they call the 30-degree-guarantee. Basically, if the temp is 30F higher or lower than the stated mid-day temperature, then you call the station and get a free gift. It's basically impossible to really accurately predict the weather and temperature on the front range with the swings we sometimes get.

Yup. Was just outside and nearly froze walking to the mail box! Then I nearly was blown away walking back to the house.

I lived in FL for 14 years. I don't miss it. But if you like it there, great. :)

Fun little trivia.
On January 23 - 24, 1916 in Browning, Montana the record for the most dramatic 24 hour temperature difference was set. In this time period the temperature fell over 100° from 44°F to -56°F.

The fastest rise (and fall) in temperature is 49°F in two minutes (-4°F at 7:30AM to 45°F at 7:32AM). This occurred January 22, 1943 in Spearfish, South Dakota. Note: At 9am the temperature peaked at 54°F and then over the following 27 minutes dropped back to -4°F.

I don't know about that. Missouri in general is about as bad as it gets and St. Louis is the one place in this country I would NEVER live....and I was born there.

I was listening to the radio the other day...they were giving the weather almanac for the day. They mentioned the record for largest temperature drop over the shortest period of time. Somewhere in the Black Hills, the Shinook winds kicked in and took the temperature from -4F to 45F in 2.5 min. image that...damn, image the opposite

EDIT: damn, KK beat me to it
