At last I decide on the specs, any thoughts?

My new computer which I'll put together in early August has taken a long time, much reading and much wonderful advice from forum members to decide upon, but at last I've got all the parts listed. Because of the price I might buy the 2nd LCD, 2nd Video Card and 2nd GB of Ram in a month or two, and a few things have already been bought, but generally this is what it will look like...

Any thoughts / ideas before going shopping?

Thanks again for everyones help too!!!

He says he wants two monitors, but you don't need two video cards for two monitors. A 6800GT, or even a 6600GT for that matter, supports up to two monitors per card.

Why not spend a little more and do SLI? Even if you don't really play games...it just makes more sence to me.

Ah about the two video cards, I found is it seems DVI is really pushed / sometimes goes over it's limits at such high resolutions. In total I believe I'd have about 3360 x 1050 resolution, which is just 1/2 a megapixel less than the 30" Apple Cinema Display (which requires a dual link DVI card). What do you think?

I wonder though, if one 6800 GT card would for sure run both monitors fine, I could get that instead, and then add another one at the end of the year or such, and then have the option to enable SLI when playing games (although still during normal use, it'd be turned off, as SLI can only dispaly on one screen, not two). These are the Dual DVI cards I can see...

$330 - Leadtek GeForce 6800 GT Video Card (with what looks like a massive cooler, hmm)
$346 - XFX GeForce 6800GT Video Card (many forum members seemed to not recommend XFX)
$350 - AOpen GeForce 6800 GT Video Card
$365 - BFG Technologies GeForce 6800 GT OC Video Card (BFG seemed highly recommend)

Dont get why get two video cards when one 7800gtx would do and it would be for about the same price. Why did you double things like to mice if you want a good wireless mouse the just get the logitech not the microsoft. Everything else seems fine but i dont see what sound card you going to use??

Yep it's a beast :D Although, lol, if there's bite marks in my lovely new LCD in a months time... it's because I couldn't afford food that week, and I thought there was chocolate inside.

Makes my computer before this one seem so, well ancient (as parts of it should):

AMD Athlon XP 2400+
768mb of the cheapest Ram I could find
80gb Seagate HDD
GeForce 440MX
CD-RW Drive that didn't burn CD's anymore
15" Viewsonic CRT Monitor I used for about 5 years now

Yet I still chugged along with huge Photoshop files, Lightwave 3D modelling, rendering and such :)

Yeah for the mouse I've had the Logitech MX1000 for a while now, love it. That much for a wireless keyboard is seeming a bit (just a tad) crazy though, but I'll try and find one on Ebay or such. I really would like a Natural shaped keyboard though, it's a shame Microsofts normal one is that blue and white...

Sound card? The onboard one (hears gasps from various members!). I use iPod for all my music, so the computer sound is just for movies and such... I'd like a better one at some point, but for now with just 2.1 speakers as well, it seems best left out.

Yeah that's what I've been told, two video cards is better in dual monitor config. I'd be happy if one card could power them both (another card = more heat, more fan noise...) but it seems not a good idea.
