I agree with this statement...although from a monetary/sponsor standpoint *cough*Anand*cough*, the more hits the Anandtech pages get, the better. Think those banner ads at the top of your screen are there for nothing?

I can't tell you the number of people I work with that have AOL dialup at home, running on some PII machine that doesn't even have an AGP slot or a CDRW drive and they like to converse with me about "new computer stuff."
I am more than happy to share my knowledge and try to educate people, but when they realize how expensive this "hobby" can be, they balk. "Um, my computer is fast enough for my wife's receipe files and my email, Mike, thanks though..."
Back on topic; it's nice to see Anandtech getting the recognition it deserves. This place has been a boon for me, both PC-related and otherwise. Why, if it weren't for OT, I'd be a madman by now...oh, wait.....:Q
