AT gets a macintosh section

ah, step one in ATOT's demise

Don't you think that's a little naive?

Apple is coming out with more and more stuff that can be used with PCs including their new widescreen LCDs.

I wish more of their stuff was PC usable.

I used Macs in school as well as at home and I have a healthy ammount of respect for the Mac. It has its place and I'm personally looking forward to the high quality stuff coming to the PC by Apple.

If only they didnt price themselves right out of the market...

Their latest LCDs are very well priced.

The last set started at around 8,000 USD. Enough to make a grown man cry.

I'm glad they smartened up and also added DVI to them and gave them the same sexy look Apple PowerPCs are known for.

ive been using my new 12" powerbook for the last month when my mobo died...now that the mobo is back (and my pc operational) i still like using my mac more. i think a lot of ppl never really give macs a chance...

"...It has its place..."

Oh really? What place is that? The place reserved for overpriced, proprietary shiny things?

Hey Troll you forgot your club. Don't let it hit you on the way out.

1. I like MacOS X
2. I like 64bit CPUs
3. I like the aesthetics of PowerMac hardware

I welcome the new Mac section, and I've been a Wintel biatch for a dozen years now. Sue me if you don't like it.

Video/Audio editing. Overall ease of use both OS and otherwise is second to none. Period.

Apple is generally used in a studio or development or research lab/office as opposed to in a home.

If I could afford it I would keep both a PowerPC and a PC.

I have had the pleasure of using Apple computers before in both a school, lab, and home environment and it was great while I had a chance to toy with them.

All that quality is only marred by a lack of games and the overal price of a system that can easily be double that of a PC of comparable raw performance.

However quality is just awesome. If all that cool stuff Apple made came to the PC they would make a killing.

Lots are coming too. Not just the LCDs but also wireless iPod and music streaming to any stereo/Mac system/PC in the house with wireless and some other cool stuff.

It's ironic... The iMac in that tab has been discontinued. 😛

Hmmm... R U a guy? If so, should I be worried that you're thinking about this? 😕
