AT Effect Prevails!!!: Vote for Pimp My Bike Contest

I have a 7 year old and one of his race buddies is in a pimp my bike contest (similar to the MTV pimp my ride show) and the contest came down to the top 8 entries which were being voted on in the businesses forum to determine the winner.

My friends son was in a really tight race with another boy and it was a really good contest, late last night my friend was up by like 10 or 15 votes and then someone on another forum offered prizes for anyone who voted for the #4 entry and his votes started coming in droves. I feel that that is not the way to win but thought maybe if I posted about it on AT that my fellow computer junkies would help even things up a bit. Feel free to vote for which ever entry you think would be best but my friend is #7. No prizes from me other then seeing my friends kids face when he finds out that he was in the contest which is still unknown to him.

Thanks man, it wouldn't bother me if he hadn't been up by a descent margin (considering there were only 127 votes for him when the guy posted the offer so 10 or 15 was a good margin) but then when he went down by so many votes I felt really bad. I really view bribing for votes as cheating myself although I suppose it is just a motivator and I really would like the best entry to win, not just my friends boy because I want him to win but just because that is what the contest was about. It wasn't about bribing people to vote a certain way.

Anyway, I appreciate your vote and any more that follow and I know my friend will as well. I talked to him considerably before posting it here and had already gone back and forth on if I thought I should since late last night but I just couldn't let it go. If you read the stories and vote for the one you think is most deserving it would be best, I don't want my friend to win if his isn't the best, I just don't want some other kid to win just because another forum got together and offered members something for voting for a certain one.
 
A valid email address is required to validate the account. I thank you guys for your votes and the AT effect is well known by me, I have been a member for a long time although usually just a lurker, the HD forum used to cause me to spend to much money!
 
Thank you so much guys, I am talking to him on the phone and he is very happy. We thought pretty much all hope was lost and were suprised this morning when he was way down.

He doesn't even have internet access at home so he can't get on to thank you himself but he says there is an 8 year old that would be doing back flips if the AT effect does it for him.
 
Yeah, I really didn't want to start a duel and that is why I didn't post it but I just can't get around the fact that they offered stuff to people to motivate them. I appreciate everyones support and my friend does as well.
