My bro is still a med school student @ Northwestern, w/ a high 3's gpa IN MED SCHOOL.
He graduated NU magna caum laude, with a bioengineering degree. Yet, he still found the time to help Chicago's inner city kids with their education, and coached wrestling (he was team captain of the varsity wrestling team in High school). Not to mention that he was also in the NU Crew Team, as Stroke (lead position) in his lightweight 4-man team.
Here's a pic of him @ stroke position @ schuylkill river (the same river where the triathlon will take place)

He also teamed up with his roommate to form his own fundraising program to help the homeless, and raised a couple thousand by themselves w/o any help.
Scott, my bro, wishes to become an orthopedic surgeon, and already was part of a research paper, which is currently under professor peer review to be published.
He's only a first yr med school student too.
I'm very very very proud of my brother. he keeps in awesome shape, gets awesome grades, finds time to selflessly help people, and yet, still has time to have fun with his friends.
Everyone who knows my brother respects him.
Now, onto the donation part (so sorry AT!).
My brother is a fitness freak. He can run the marathon. Now he's gunning for the Traithlon, and hoping he can help those w/ Luekemia, lymphoma, and myeloma at the same time.
He's looking for corporate sponsorship starting next week, but I'm hoping that Anandtech members can donate a few bucks here and there to help my brother, whom I believe deserves everything there is in life, whom I respect and love dearly, and whom I'm very very proud of; and help those in need.
Thanks in advance!
Of course, if you know anyonw who's doing this, I'll be more than happy to post their donation pages as well.
