Well, finally got back on the bike again, and I did a gentle loop to my new place of work and back again (rolling hills west of Stuttgart aren't as fun as the alpine landscape around Grenoble was...).

My knee, which was the reason I stopped riding last spring, appeared to take the ride in stride, validating what my winter spinning exercises suggested.

Only logged 28km~18 miles, but it's a start.
The cold air also really got to me. Tasting only blood while riding made me feel slightly queasy.
