Asylum FX 5900 128mb heat threshold temp

In the Nvidia control panel there is a section to set the thershold for when the card will slow down when it reaches a certain temp. It set itself to 140 degrees, that seems high. Should i set it lower?? It's a great card, I really broke a nut trying to decide between it and the ATI Radeon 9800 pro 128, but in the end i decided to go with Nvidia becasue of their drives. I was using the 44.03 drivers and got a 4100 3Dmark 2003 score. Downloaded the beta 4520's and get 5200 3D mark score, not bad....GO NVIDIA!!
