hi

i've been to several websites and i'm pretty frustrated because i can't save video from those sites. they are presented in both .ram and .asx formats and plays in real player and windows media player just fine but can't save them to the hard drive.

anybody know how?

thanks,
chipy

Look in the .ram or .asx files (save, then open in text editor or view source, etc.) for links to the video files. A download manager like GetRight may help snag 'em. Another trick is to simply allow the video to finish playing/downloading then search your temporary internet files subfolders for files with the relevant extension.
