hi

i've been to several websites and i'm pretty frustrated because i can't save video from those sites. they are presented in both .ram and .asx formats and plays in real player and windows media player just fine but can't save them to the hard drive.

anybody know how?

thanks,
chipy

Video streams in both of those formats can be set up so that they cannot be saved locally. If that is the case, there really isn't any way you can save them unless you can find the full video files in your Temporary Internet Files folders after you view them on the web site, and copy them somewhere else. It's not likely that they will be there, but it can't hurt to check.
