Nice to see what looks like 2 IDE connections...

That's only 2 IDE's if there's no floppy. 🙁

Anyone have a guesstimate for when 650i's like this are going to be reviewed and available? I still feel like there is no clearly winning OC board for C2D at a reasonable price. I was kind of hoping that some 650i board might be the DFI nforce4 Ultra board for C2D.

The floppy appears to connect below the 2 PCI slots on the left side of the picture.

Yeah, you're right, my mistake. If you click on the "Enlargement" button, the pic there has enough resolution you can see it clearly. Fairly poor placement, even if it is a floppy plug.

Too bad it has the card for switching SLi. I was hoping that all that type of thing would happen in the BIOS from now on.

What are the major differences between the 650 and 680 ? Is is just the PCIE lanes ?

Thanks, I was looking under Motherboards.. It never occurred to me to look under CPU & Chipsets Hehe

The DFI RD600 is supposedly going to be set for $230 so ASUS is going to have to set their 650i price around the same just to compete I'm thinking.

According to Anand should be $150-$200 (of course not including the initial price spike on new hardware).

if you mean the Asus 650i SLI it's already being quoted in builds by major system builders in the UK so I guess it's out ...
The DFI is extremely imminent afaik.
