It's not a hard break.

It's more like azooose.

The first s is pronounced more like a Z than an S though.

*I* say it Ace-us. I'm just telling you how the Asus tech support people say it.

Asus used to have these digitized movie ads stuck on their motherboard driver CDs, and the actors (uh..., term used loosely) would pronounce it with like: 'ah-soose' with the emphasis on the second syllable. If that's not straight from the horse's mouth, I don't know what is.
