Hey guys.

I have already a problem with new PC. Specification: 4690K, Maximus VII Hero, 8 GB XyperX Beast 2400 MHz, Crucial MX 100 256 GB, LiteON iHAS 124, Define R5, STRIX GTX 970 and Macho Black White Rev.B

PC start normal, fans OK etc and UEFI loading normal, but the problem is with boot. AHCI mode is set default, UEFI see SSD and DVD. First boot device is DVD, second, SSD. And it's OK. When i press in BOOT Override DVD, pc restarted and nothing more hapenned. I can't install OS. I bought oryginall Windows 8.1 and DVD aren't spin. I tried with other CD and it's spin normally, but when i insert the CD with Windows, DVD looks like dead, not spin, just LED lights.

Is it problem with DVD, motherboard oraz CD from Microsoft ? CD is fine, without strach. How can i Fix this ?

My first test would be a known working bootable CD/DVD. Will your new computer boot from that?
Alternatively, put the Windows 8 DVD in another drive and see if it will boot.

A workaround for the time being would be to put Windows 8.1 on a flash drive and set the board to boot from that drive. It would install Windows faster anyway.
