Brand new build.

10850k
32gb C14 3600mhz
860 Corsair PSU
1080ti Auros
970 Evo M.2 SSD 1TB

First install : Issues getting drivers to unzip and install... weird.
Next day got Black Screen on post and cant see anything no access to bios.

Wipe CMOS

Second install : Drivers work. PC works fine. Games installed. Then on reboot later in day black screen again no video post.

Try and boot and SSD isnt showing in windows installer. Bios setting has changed and wont show NVME SSD. Change bios Sata setting and now SSD shows in installer. Try and boot SSD and windows corrupt and wont boot.

Next install : No 1080ti Post. Plug in the IGPU and installer now shows on screen. Install Windows and try and switch to 1080ti. Doesnt work. Switch back to IGPU and wont boot windows. Windows Recovery wont fix install. Click boot windows and then it Boots!. 1080ti shows in windows device manager so it must be working somehow... Even though im using IGPU..

IGPU works even when 1080ti is plugged in and powered. Bios wont save PCIe GPU only setting and keeps reverting to CPU GPU.

Im thinking a fault in the PCIe chipset/motherboard since its affected both the GPU and the NVME SSD.

Spent 2 days trying to figure this out if anyone else has a suggestion?

First, is the 1080 Ti working normally in another computer? Sounds like a CPU / motherboard issue if the GPU is fine. You could try a BIOS update. Also, you could try the 1080 Ti in another slot if possible.
