Asus XMaximus Fomula MB Temp - problem or how to fix?

X38 Board, Quad extreme CPU, no overclocking.

In PC Probe, very cool room, no load, I see temps of 31C+, which sets off the warning in PC Probe. Under load, it goes up to 35, with the NB going to 45 and also setting off an alarm.

I believe I've been diligent with cooling - the Lian LI PC-A70 is huge and came with 6 fans (replaced 4 of them with scythes), and I have a huge heatsink that keeps the CPU very cool.

From what point on the mobo is temperature picked up? Is having the MB read this high a hazard? What about northbridge temperatures?

If this is an issue, what should I do to make the Mobo cooler? With everything cool except the mobo, does it indicate a specific problem? Should I try to position another 12" somehow blowing across the ram (front-back)? Are there any good ways to bolt together semi-custom fan mounts for such things?

Are there any other solutions?

Thanks,
Matt
