Half price, but currently cheapest switch to make a connection between 2x 10GbE-T devices.

Also see the Microtik 4-port SFP+ / 1-port 1GbE-T managed switch for ~$140. (Requires SFP+ 10GbE-T tranceivers for ~$40 per port to use Cat6A cables.)

Also in this price category, Netgear has an 8-port gigabit / 2-port 10GbE-T unmanaged switch for ~$160.

If you need some 2.5GbE-T ports, I'd look into one of those. There's a similar one that is managed for $179.99. That one should be $149.99.

This thread is kinda funny. I've been searching for a switch lately with at least two 2.5G connections on it. The ones you've referenced here are where the rabbit hole has led me too. Looking forward to the QNAP 5 port being released soon for around $110-120. Personally, I'm just trying to speed up backups from regular HDDs which max out at around 170MB/s.

The QNAP switch is already out, many places have it for $99, but it is usually on backorder.
Personally, I will wait until the prices drop at least by half before I splurge on one of these...

Used enterprise 10Gb cards and dacs are the way to go for a point to point speed up as it's usually far cheaper than new 2.5Gb.
