Hi! I'm buying one of these two notebooks. They cost exactly the same, and seem to look exactly the same too :p. The big difference is in the cpu and graphics. Which one do you think is more capable when it comes to games and stuff? And I can't seem to find any info on the battery life on the X5DAB, but I guess it might be a bit worse than the K50IJ?

X5DAB
AMD Athlon X2 QL-64
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 - 512MB
3GB RAM
Hard Drive - 250GB

K50IJ
Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200
NVIDIA GeForce G102M - 512MB
3GB RAM
Hard Drive - 250GB

grateful for any opinions!

Based on the limited info presented, I would choose the Intel CPU simply because they are better in laptops from an efficiency viewpoint involving power consumption and temperature. Are there any differences in I/O ports, i.e., USB, FW, eSATA, HDMI, etc.?

What size screen and resolution? What will you be doing with the laptop?

Since you mentioned gaming capability, I'd say the HD 4570 is the better choice, unless you're strictly doing flash games or CPU-intensive games (WoW, etc.) If the screen resolution is decently high, the better GPU will definitely be an advantage.
