ASUS Win8 Won't show anything on startup

I can't see my desktop, or go to Start Menu, I have to use Task Manager to do things D: idk whats wrong 😕 Its completely black
 
Could be a virus. If you select shut down from task manager, do you see your desktop for a second? I know on some old ones it actually was a cover and from the side I could actually drag it out of the way.

See if it will boot into safe mode.

Well idk what happened, but its fixed, and i couldn't do anything but go to task manager but thanks for the help
