Hey guys, does anyone have this monitor working at this resolution and refresh rate? Right now I only have a gtx260 with 2 dvi ports, but I'm using DVI to HDMI. Windows says monitor can only do 60hz, but all the sites say 85hz at this resolution. Guy over on [H] said he emailed Asus, and they said it will only do 75, but that was a year ago or so.

No LCD panel is made to operate at 85Hz. even 75hz is probably downsampled to 60Hz. Usually if 75Hz is supported, it is supported only on lower resolution which is interpolated.

In other words, if monitor accepts input of certain refresh rate, it does not mean its output is at that rate.

user manual says that 85Hz is supported at 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768
1920x1200 is supported only at 60Hz.

I have seen this before, they specify biggest refresh at any resolution as spec.

What the hell, I looked through the manual and couldn't find that. All I got was like 3 pages in about 20 different languages.

So I just wasted $250 bucks and $40 worth of Amazon gift cards. F'ing great

No you didn't... you got a great monitor... it's one of the few hard to find monitors with 1920x1200 resolutions since everything is going 1920x1080... I couldn't find your monitor anyware or any other known brands with 1920x1200 and ended up purchasing an I-Inc 28inch 1920x1200 monitor from CompUSA yesterday... I'm praying I don't get any dead pixels when it comes in this Friday...D:

Yea, but the whole point was I wanted to go bigger and get higher refresh rates. I thought this was the only monitor that could go above 60. Would have just waited for the clearance on the U2410 and gone IPS otherwise.
