ASUS VW246H vs ASUS VS248H-p

Is one particularly better than the other? I've been searching and I can't seem to find which ASUS series is better. The VS248H-p has a higher ASCR contrast ration, but I've heard those numbers are arbitrary. So from personal experience, or just knowledge, which one is better?

TN vs. TN - they both are particularly not good. I see that they have some IPS display for about same money.
Yes, numbers are arbitrary. Most display have static contrast ratio of about up to 1000:1
TN - cheap, fast response, less ghosting, everything else not too good
IPS -not cheap, not too fast, but accurate colors and viewing angle make up for all of it.

I know, that is why I'm getting TN, it's cheap and it is good quality. I want an answer to my question.
