Asus VW221 hdmi?

Hello, sorry for my straightforwardness, but i need some advice.

I have Asus VW221 monitor which only has VGA input and i plan on buying Radeon HD7850 graphics card which has DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.
So either way i have to buy adapter but which one is most useful in that case?
Can i expect HD quality or there would be no difference because of VGA input?
