The first is about $120 cheaper - it is 24-in. The second is 27-in. Both have about the same tech performance specs. Both 3D capable.

if you want a bit of better graphic quality when gaming i would go with 24". the 27" is a bigger viewer but there is less PPI. so you can see some of the pixels up close and the desktop would look kind of blurry.

i have a 27" 2560x1440p currently so i would prob still stick with 27" because i like the size of the monitor

You place the 27" further from you which lets your eyes relax more

I own the 24 inch personally. There are several things to consider here. One benefit of the 24 inch is that it is a brighter monitor (350 vs 300 on the 27 inch) which is better if your computer is in a brighter room. The next is that it is a 1ms response vs the 2ms response of the 27 inch (this difference is hard to detect, but it is a difference). And the biggest benefit to the 27 inch is just that the size is better. Personally, I don't care for a larger size than 24 inches for 1080p for the price. If the prices were closer I think it would be worth it. But I think you're better off putting the extra 130 somewhere else.

What gpu do you have?
