Asus Vento 7700

Interesting design from the looks of it. Has shark-like vents on the side of the case. Would that really do any good?

OOOK, coming from an ex-owner of vento.
This case looks SICK, if you want something that will send any bystander in awe yet not have the cliche UV/acrylic panel rig. Very well designed and userfriendly. Cable management should come with ANY modernday PC but is often overlooked, the knob on the side panel is also handy. Tool-free installation is also a welcome feature.

Best used with BigTyphoon and SI/XP-120/90, the side intake works great with these coolers.

Drawbacks: Insufficient intake airflow, poor HD cooling if more than 1 HD is present. Pricey

As i said, if you want a sick looking case yet not overly distracting (the front LED is quite dim, making it less distracting but adds some subtlty.) GO FOR IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
On the flipside, if you do heavy OCing, plenty of better alternatives out there.

Looks depends on oppinion, i personally cant stand the Lian Li cases, but Lexa looks great.
My current favorite is the P180, good innovation with simple and sleek look.

I happen to like the current vento. I did a lot of cable manegment by running the wires throught the plastic that completly engulfs the case.

ok so it could be a little better, or lighter (its heavier then a bag of bricks) But I think its cool.
