Asus V8200 Geforce3(DELUXE) or CARDEXPERT GEFORCE3 POWERPAK GOLDEN SAMPLE

Which of these is the best GF3 now? I've read high reviews on both, but don't know which one is the best? I need to make a decision, or is it better to wait for the supposed GF3ti-500 or whatever it's called.

Gainward(cardExpert) absolutely, but the Ti500 is coming shortly. The Asus boards have some of the worst 2D of any GF3 based boards.

What do you guys think the lowest price will be for the Ti500 (on pricewatch for example) when it comes out? I'm hoping $350.. but assuming $400..

I think it will depend upon a couple of factors, but a $400 price seems likely to be the case. The GF3 arrived with a $400 price tag at first. I just hope that there are some aggressive companies willing to price it lower than others to help push the price down quite a bit. However, I won't even consider buying a Ti 500 unless its performance will justfy the price (which could be hard to do against an OC'd GF3 or an 8500 with good drivers). Otherwise I'd rather stick with an OC'd GF3 or possibly get a Radeon 8500.

There were screens from a bestbuy inv system on HardOCP. Visiontek Ti500 was priced @ $399. I bought the same brand GF3 when it hit the store several months ago... it included a $50 instant rebate, so it came in @ $350. They might do the same for the Ti500.

I think I might wait until Gainward comes out with a Ti500 board. I like my GF3 Gainward, they make good boards.
