Asus V7700 + Abit BH6 = Problem?

Hi there, I'm currently running:

P3 800 @100fsb on
Abit BH6 ver 1.0
128 PC100 ram + 256 PC133 ram
Creative TNT2 ultra
SBLive!
in open tower with Powerman 300W supply

I tired to upgrade to a Asus V7700. the card runs fine in desktop, but when I start a 3D game like Everquest and Homeworld Cataclysm, the card would run fine for a few mins up to half an hour, then all of a sudden just stop sending signal to the monitor. I know the computer didn't crash all together because the sound is still going.

Any ideas? I don't want to upgrade my MB if I can help it...

Edit: Also running win98; Dentonator 6.31; and DX 8.0. Problem was there when I had only the 128 PC 100, and running DX 7.0a with default asus drivers.

I was under the impression this 4XAGP card wouldn't work in an old 1XAGP board like the BH6. hmmmmm
