Asus V7100 TV out quality sucks

I tried an Asus V7100 Combo deluxe card, but it's TV out was extremely bad.

I was not able to set up the picture size correctly (it was too small, and choosing overscan it became too large), but the most annoying thing was that on the monitor the films played well but on the TV it looked like using 256 colors. (with asus driver v631b5).

With nVidia Detonator driver I was able to select True color for TV, but the quality didn't imoroved. And with Detonator I cannot use Asus Digital VCR to watch TV or capture video.

What shlould I do? Please help. Thanx.

i had the same problems with the screen as you were having with my v7100/t

i updated the drivers to the 11.1's and that seemed to fix it

BUT

one thing i noticed, is that i could no longer hit ctrl-alt-T to switch display

it looks like this is only available with the 631 drivers and lower, the 650 and up drivers don't have this feature, but seemed to fix the video problems with the picture size

is there a hack out there or anything to enable switch from monitor to tv with ctrl-alt-T ???
