I have a v7100 MX card and Asus K7M...how do I get it to run AGP2x and Sidebanding...I've tried some programs but they didn't do anything!!

Please Help!
 
I'll be getting one this week and sticking it in a A7V. I'm sure I'll post my thought on it🙂 You might check your registry and make sure the settings are really taking hold.
 
I have AMD AGP Miniport 4.71 istalled...my K7M bios is the latest (1009 or something)...my nVidia drivers are the Detonator3 6.18...
I checked the registry and it said that agp2x and sidebanding was enabled but it isn't!!

Could it have something to do with Windows Millenium?? Does the registry-hacks work in WinME like they do in Win98se!!??
 
how are you so sure that the registry is lying? Are you sure that your K7M is set to 2x in the CMOS/jumpers/whatever? Generally if you manually place the registry entry to what you want it at, reboot, and it's still there, it means the setting took hold.
